They only lasted about one year.

LenLen (Barfbag)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16457712945996628748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5254425194697307553.post-2105492068384610952008-04-06T17:23:00.000-05:002008-04-06T17:23:00.000-05:00My dad used to always be in the US for work so i u...My dad used to always be in the US for work so i used to fly from Sydney to San Francisco in the United DC-10s. And they only had them for a few months until they went out of business last week. Fed-Ex still has some old ones but they are all freighters.

LenLen (Barfbag)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16457712945996628748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5254425194697307553.post-41300109284156098662008-04-06T08:29:00.000-05:002008-04-06T08:29:00.000-05:00Hi Mike,I guess it's the price of oil that killed ...Hi Mike,

I guess it's the price of oil that killed ATA. We've had three US airlines go out of business in one week! I hope we're not next at AA.

Yeah, we once operated over 50 DC-10's here. I never flew it but everyone I know that did had great things to say about it. Most of ours went to Fed-Ex. They are the only ones around that are still flying them but they have all been converted to MD-10's now.
